| Keelan was influenced early on by his Mother's drawings and his Father's photographs. At age 10 he received his first camera and later in high school Keelan discovered the timeless photography of Richard Avedon, Edward Steichen, and Helmut Newton. Encouraged by his high school photography teacher, Thom Fecik, and the awards he received as a Senior, Keelan continued his artistic education into college at Ohio University. Pursuit of a more competitive photography program lead Keelan to the world renowned Brooks Institute of Photography in Santa Barbara, California. He graduated with a Bachelors of Arts in Commercial Photography and relocated to Los Angeles to work as a freelance photographer full time. Keelan is a well respected and internationally published photographer with an impressive client list. He is currently working on a new gallery series and multimedia film. Keelan is simultaneously broadening his professional portfolio and global experience while traveling.
